In the Community: Kristin Wood wins PRSSA National Gold Key Award

SDSU graduate Kristin Wood, account coordinator for Cook & Schmid, has been awarded the Public Relations Student Society of America National Gold Key Award, the highest honor an individual can achieve from the society. One of 18 Gold Key recipients nationwide, she was the only winner from San Diego.

The award recognized Wood for academic excellence, PRSSA leadership and the internship she completed with Cook & Schmid during her last semester at SDSU. She accepted her full-time position at the agency after graduating in May. She is a new member of the Public Relations Society of America, the parent organization of PRSSA.
