Over five years, more than 50 major public, private, and transportation infrastructure projects were planned for the University City/Golden Triangle community that impacted traffic flow and daily commutes. The Shift program was designed to provide residents, businesses, and commuters impacted by construction with information and resources to minimize disruption and potential traffic challenges from major projects, including construction of the Blue Line trolley with service to UTC and UCSD.
