Cook + Schmid conducted a broad public engagement program to collect meaningful input on the vision and guiding principles for the Port of San Diego’s 50-year Master Plan Update. The program was effective in engaging with hard-to-reach audiences and succeeded in building a consensus that led to passage by the board without opposition. The AIA recognized the program with its President’s Award.
